WELCOME TO CONNIES CRUSADERS INC

Connie's Crusaders Inc. was formed after our president, Susan Jonas lost her dear mom, Connie Erickson, to pancreatic cancer after only an eighteen  month courageous battle. Connie passed on September 12th, 2015 and this event changed the lives of many forever. Pancreatic Cancer is the #3 killer and the only one with a single digit survival rate. Currently, it's at 9 % after 5 years from diagnoses. Our goal is to double this number to 18% by 2020. Our organization is on a mission and will not stop raising money to increase survival rate and one day hear the magical  words " a CURE has been found!!"

Connie's Crusaders Inc. have done many fundraising events. One of our biggest fundraisers to date is developing a line of "Connie's Creations"artwork. Connie Erickson was an amazing artist and calligrapher, albeit a humble one. Susan Jonas discovered her zentangle  artwork, and decided to create an entire line to sell at art shows in Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky to raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. We continue to expand this line of artwork to keep it fresh with new items added every year. We sell ceramic Tiles, canvases, prints, ornaments among other items.

Our organization does several other events throughout the year to continue the funding for research and development. We hold the CONNIE CRUSADERS GOLF OUTING every year at Walden Ponds Golf Club, in Fairfield Twp. which is very successful. Another fundraiser we hold is a Wine Tasting, in Louisville Ky at Lake Forest Country Club. These two fundraisers, along with our Connie's Creations, have gotten us to the #1 team at our Purplestride walk we participate in every August in Louisville, Ky.

We have currently raised over $30,000 in the last two years, since the passing of Connie Erickson and will continue to raise money until this cancer has been cured.  All money we collect is donated to the pancreatic cancer action network.  Their Purplestride walks throughout the country bring awareness to this #3 killer and are making a difference one city at a time. We will continue to grow our organization through company donations, events and ongoing selling of Connie's Creations.
